Privacy policy

1. Who handles your data
ASAMI SOFT, S.R.L. is a software development company based at Calle Puerto Rico 52, Ensanche Ozama, Santo Domingo Este, Santo Domingo province, Dominican Republic. We are the controller of the data collected through this site. For anything related to it, write to info@asami.do.
This policy covers the asami.do website and nothing else. It does not cover the applications we build for our clients: each client is responsible for the data those applications handle, under its own policy.
2. What data we collect
Only what you hand over on purpose, plus what it takes to serve the page. There are no user accounts, we don't profile you and we don't buy data from anyone.
- Contact form: your name, the contact route you write down —an email address or a phone number— and your message.
- Usage analytics: which pages are visited, from which approximate country, on what kind of device and which buttons get clicked. No cookies and no identifier that follows you across sites.
- Technical logs: the IP address and browser each request arrives from, which our hosting provider processes transiently to deliver the page and curb abuse.
3. What we use it for
To reply to you. That's it. We don't send newsletters, we don't advertise with your data, we don't sell it and we don't use it to train artificial intelligence models.
We use analytics in aggregate, to know which pages work and which don't. We make no attempt to reconstruct who you are from it.
4. Who else sees it
To run, the site relies on three providers. Each one receives only what its job requires, and none of them is allowed to use that data for its own purposes. We don't pass it on to anyone else.
- Resend — delivers the email the form generates to our inbox. It receives your name, your contact route and your message.
- Vercel — site hosting, usage analytics and performance measurement. It processes server requests and navigation events, which are anonymous.
- Meta — if you write to us through the WhatsApp link, the conversation happens inside WhatsApp and is governed by Meta's privacy policy, not this one. Clicking the link sends nothing on its own: the conversation starts when you send the message.
5. Where it is processed
Resend and Vercel run their infrastructure outside the Dominican Republic. Today this site is served from the United States region, so when you write to us your data is processed there.
By submitting the form you accept that transfer; it is the only way for the message to reach us.
6. How long we keep it
Form messages are kept for 12 months from the day you write and are deleted afterwards. If a project comes out of the conversation, the data tied to that contract is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for whatever period the law requires once it ends.
Analytics data is aggregated and cannot identify you, so it has no individual deletion deadline. If you want your message deleted before the 12 months are up, ask and we'll do it.
8. Your rights
Dominican Republic Law 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data grants you four rights over your data, and its article 9 makes clear they are independent: exercising one is not a prerequisite for exercising another.
- Access — know what data of yours we hold and what we do with it.
- Rectification and update — correct anything wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- Cancellation — that we stop using it. The law uses that word because its article 15 has data blocked before it is deleted.
- Objection — ask us not to process it.
9. How to exercise them
Write to info@asami.do from the address you contacted us with. You don't have to explain why: demanding justifications to exercise a right would be putting a barrier in your way.
We answer an access request within 5 business days, and a rectification, update or cancellation request within 10. These are not deadlines we made up: they are the ones articles 10 and 12 of Law 172-13 set for access, and article 8 for the rest.
Were we to miss that deadline, the law itself lets you bring a habeas data action with no further requirements. The Dominican Republic has no general data protection authority, so the route is judicial.
If you are outside the Dominican Republic, you can exercise the same rights through the same channel.
10. How we protect the site
All traffic travels encrypted over HTTPS. The form validates on the server, caps how many submissions it accepts from the same sender and stores nothing in any database: the message becomes an email, lands in our inbox and stays there.
This site asks for no passwords, has no user accounts and handles no card or payment data.
11. Minors
The site is aimed at companies and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change anything, we update the date in the header. When a change affects how we handle data you already gave us, we'll say so on this page before applying it.
